What’s a buoyrope and what can it do? What DOESN’T it do, is a better question. Every once in a while we like to highlight products that are cool, cutting edge, practical or just plain must haves and this one falls under all those categories. On our recent rip to Shasta Lake we had the good fortune of encountering the BuoyROPE and let’s just say we haven’t been the same since. Between the Buoyrope and it’s cousin, the looprope, you might just ahve found your new best friend. The video illustrates just some of the uses of a BUOYROPE.
Remember when we posted the coolest t-shirt ever the other day? Well, it has a twin that is pink! While the other is a steel grey color, this one is a sweet shade of pink. Of course the other one could be used for a girl too but what girly girl doesn’t love a good pink t-shirt! Especially when it says SAMSON SPORTS on it?
The only buzz you’ll hear of our new S7HD Speakers is from our customers….
Sampson did a GREAT job installing my tower speakers, Harpoon amp and Throttle Box. They were so easy to work with and really went out of their way to be at their shop to take delivery of my boat late at night. Let’s just say it was quite a mess getting my boat from the factory to Sampson.
They were also nice enough to help take the buzz out of my stereo (that was installed by the factory) Now that’s customer service!
Initial thoughts:
Love the quick release tower mounts. Super solid and no exposed wires (I’ve always hated to see speaker wires hanging out of the back of the speakers)
These guys really think it through. Each speaker comes with its own fitted neoprene bag with handles so when you take them off the tower you can easily carry them or stow them without fear of damage
Speakers sound great. Very loud and clear. You can use Throttle Box to make the speakers sound more or less “bright” and basically shape the sound of the speakers

How well built are Samson Sports Towers? Strong enough to withstand a fishing boat hitting, landing on top of and then backing up off of a friend’s wakeboard boat with one of our wakeboard towers on it. The force of the boat sheared the metal tower but the mounts are still in place. The sheared off tower landed in the shallow water. That’s exactly how durable they are. If our tower can stop a speeding boat…well enough said. Thankfully, our friends were not on the boat when it was hit. Please read their appeal for help and share it with your friends. This guy only left them with a few choice swear words, thousands of dollars in damage to the boat and tower and their kids badly scared.

outlets, and friends. The boat that hit us has to have damage as
well. We are sure it was a center console fishing boat (silver) with
2 outboard motors.

Deputies seek hit-and-run boater

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit is seeking assistance from the public with the identification of a reckless boater.
Last night, 08/01/09, at about 11:15pm, Joakim Algstam and his family were camping along the Columbia River on the north side of Ackerman Island, near Camas, WA. Their 21 foot Malibu ski-boat was moored unoccupied about 30 feet off shore in very shallow water.
An unknown person was operating a boat at a high rate along the shoreline and struck Algstam’s boat, launching the boat on top of Algstam’s and causing several thousand dollars in damage. Joakim watched as the boater backed off from the top of his boat and then sped away down stream. Joakim stated the man appeared intoxicated and had complained to him about parking his boat in the middle of the channel.
The suspect, and only occupant of the boat, is described as a white male, slender, approximately 40-45 years of age. He was driving an 18 to 21 foot, aluminum style fishing boat with a center console and an outboard motor. Algstam believes the vessel was equipped with more than one starboard/right side green navigation lights. No registration or other identifying markings were obtained.
Anyone with information about who this suspect may be is encouraged to call Deputy Todd Baker at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office at 360-397-2106. Case number S09-11107.
