What’s a buoyrope and what can it do? What DOESN’T it do, is a better question. Every once in a while we like to highlight products that are cool, cutting edge, practical or just plain must haves and this one falls under all those categories. On our recent rip to Shasta Lake we had the good fortune of encountering the BuoyROPE and let’s just say we haven’t been the same since. Between the Buoyrope and it’s cousin, the looprope, you might just ahve found your new best friend. The video illustrates just some of the uses of a BUOYROPE.
We love ingenuity and think that this swing has a lot of it. Wakeboarding takes a lot of balance and what better way than this to teach the lil ones than this? And we are thinking the bigger kids who might otherwise be too big and “cool” for a swing might just complain if you took this down.

Our new T-shirts are in and we can’t decide what we like best. The grey or pink for kids or our new grey (it comes in black too!) hoodie T-shirt for women. Similar to yoga shirts in that they are sheer and lightweight, they are our favorite ones yet. That’s SAMSON for ya. Like our Towers our t-shirts go beyond expectations.
Remember when we posted the coolest t-shirt ever the other day? Well, it has a twin that is pink! While the other is a steel grey color, this one is a sweet shade of pink. Of course the other one could be used for a girl too but what girly girl doesn’t love a good pink t-shirt! Especially when it says SAMSON SPORTS on it?

While still a relatively young sport, wakesurfing has deep roots from the surfing aspect of it. It just is more accessible to everyone – say from 4 hours inland on the west coast to 4 hours away from the east coast, just about everyone across the US is close to some kind of body of water that would be ideal for wakesurfing! We thought this primer video on wakesurfing was a killer. So don’t be shy to get a board this summer and learn yet another sport behind your Samson tower. Enjoy!

We are giving away tickets to the 50th Anniversary Celebration Preview Party and Gala at the Portland Boat Show. It couldn’t be easier to enter the drawing for tickets for yourself and a guest. While on vacation in Idaho, we had the chance to meet up with Samson Team rider, Chris Craig. He was seriously flying behind Samson Wakeboard Tower on the X-Star. Despite the imperfect water, Chris’s ride was wholly impressive. Chris was amazing to watch and even gave tips to the novice riders who rode after him. (Trust me, that is a tough act to follow!) Chris was the first team rider to check out the new speakers as well. Thanks Chris!

Coolest place wakeboarding has taken you: Every trip that I go on is very exciting and new. The one place that stands out though would be my ten-day trip to Sweden to travel the country to teach kids how to ride and do some contest.
Favorite Trick: Any spin that is grabbed and has tons of style
Favorite Place to Ride: Anywhere it is hot, the water is smooth, and you have friend around, but if I had to pin a place on the map it would be at my family’s vacation home in northern Idaho.
Other hobbies: Snowboarding in the powder, traveling, photography, listening to good music, road trips with friends, people watching, eating good food, playing with my pug dog Boogie.
